He is survived by: his pet Dexter; his wife Amy Batton Burchette of Moravian Falls; his son Joseph Claude Burchette of Daytona, Florida; his stepsons, Justin Thomas Nichols of Greensboro, Jacob Ryan Nichols of Santa Rosa, Nicholas Batton of Daytona, Florida and Zachary Brendon Batton of Daytona, Florida; his siblings, Sandra Burchette of Moravian Falls, Sheila Broyhill (Tim) of Wilkesboro, Tim Klutz (Amy) of Hickory, Tom Klutz of Rock Creek and Sean Klutz (Becky) of Bethlehem; and his mother-in-law Carol Stanley of Wilkesboro. He is also survived by several grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
