David Robert Smithey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2024, at the age of 72, David Robert Smithey of Moravian Falls, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Plato Smithey and Grace Ball Smithey; and his siblings, Shirley Cardwell, Bernell Alexander and Dwight Smithey (Jerry Smithey).
He is survived by: his wife Lois Tedder Smithey; his daughter Margaret Younce (Michael) of Moravian Falls; his grandchildren, Megan Harrold (Brandon) of Wilkesboro and Caleb Younce (Leslie) of Moravian Falls; his great grandchildren, Memphis Younce and Oliver Harrold; and his siblings, Darrell Smithey of Wilkesboro and Wanda Brookshire (Paul) of Hiddenite.
