He was predeceased by: his father Robert Lee Griffith; and his son David Griffith, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Annettia Johnson Griffith; his son Bradley Eller of Gastonia; and his siblings, Linda Church (Doug) of Moravian Falls, Joyce Davis (Tony) of Moravian Falls and Ronnie Griffith (Carla Coffey) of Lenoir. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
