She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Talmadge and Bertha Rhoades Fletcher; her daughter Sharon Kay Duncan; and her siblings, Guy Fletcher, Bruce Fletcher, John Henry Fletcher, Hazel Burgess, Sylvia Smithey and Lula Mae Klutz.

She is survived by: her husband Norval "Bob" Duncan; her children, Karen Walker (Curtis) of Moravian Falls, Barbara Lee (Tom) of Salisbury, Maryland and Robert Duncan (Lisa) of Wilkesboro; her brothers, Gene Fletcher of North Wilkesboro and Ralph Fletcher of Moravian Falls; her grandchildren, Clay Walker (Jacquelyn) of Moravian Falls, Kelly Griffin (Nathaniel) of Moravian Falls, Kyler Duncan of Wilkesboro and Ashley Duncan of Wilkesboro; and her great grandchildren, Carrigan Walker of Moravian Falls, McKinley Walker of Moravian Falls and Gabe Griffin of Moravian Falls.
