She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Sloop and Vedie Sloop; her husband William "Mark" Marcus Johnson; and her siblings, Arthur Lee Sloop, Paul Sloop, Annie Mae Johnston, Fred Sloop, Marie Sloop, Estelle Hartsoe, James Lafate Sloop, Beatice Massey, Irene Welborn, Sue Greenhill, Laura Kennedy, Margaret Blevins and Arthur Hartzogg Sloop.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Jordan (Gary) and Betty Jo Burcham (Sam); her grandsons, Nathan Jordan (Heather) and Jon Burcham (Melinda); her great grandchildren, Aiden Jordan, Evie Jordan and Brooke Burcham; her niece Shelby Wright; and her caregivers, Deborah Bufkin, Charlene Wyatt, Ola Cleary, Shirley Bowlin, Anita Canter, Glenda Kilby, Annie Marley, Lisa Castle, Kim Ellis, Beulah Hayworth and Marilyn Parker. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
During the Pandemic, she decided to resume her knitting by making prayer shawls to share with friends.
