It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvonne Sobel of Mooresville, North Carolina, born in Valdosta, Georgia, who passed away on November 13, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eber Lessie Betts and Myrtice Vickers Betts. She is survived by: her children, Jonathan Mayer Sobel (Kathryn) of Cary, NC and Rebekah Sobel Meier (David) of Mooresville, NC; her grandchildren, Joshua, Elizabeth, Christopher Sobel of Cary, NC and Spencer Meier of Mooresville, NC; her sister Marsha Betts Dowling of McRae, GA; and her former husband Robert Edward Sobel of Hohenwald, TN..
