We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2024, at the age of 86, Willie Frank Blocker of Mooresville, North Carolina, born in Decatur, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Blocker and Lucille Griffin Blocker; his sisters, Sarah, Louise, Norene and Marti; and his cousin Eddie Blocker.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Thornton Blocker; his children, Phil Blocker (Julie), Robin Nanney (Jeff), Kelly Nygren (Don) and Bart Blocker (Lauren); his grandchildren, Mallory Pharr (Matt), Thornton Blocker, Kristin Nanney, Hunter Nanney (Liz), Sarah Nygren, Nathan Nygren, Rylan Nygren, Owen Heckmann and Ben Heckmann; and his great grandchildren, Brawley Nanney and John Hunter Nanney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
