He is survived by: his wife Essie Walker Luther; his children, David Luther, T. J. Luther (Melanie) and Tommy Luther (Corrina); and his sister-in-law Merneen Luther. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 5 nieces and nephews.
