He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Bill Roper and Gene Noles; and his stepbrothers, Cecil "Trey" L. McCants, III and Brian Ziencik. He is survived by: his friend William Joseph Roper III; his wife Belinda Wyatt Roper; his grandmothers, Nancy Roper and Margaret "Kitty" Crane; his stepparents, Deborah Roper and James Ziencik; his brothers, Michael Roper and Noah Roper; his stepsiblings, Mandy Mitchell and Morgan McCants; and also Jody. He is also survived by husband, father.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Jingle for Jody, a charity created prior to his death to fulfill Jody's desire and personal tradition to help families during the holiday season.
