With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Ronald Davidson Sr. of Mooresville, North Carolina, born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on September 30, 2024 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cephus Davidson and Marietta Johnson Davidson; his wife Virginia W. Davidson; his granddaughter Nadia Jenae Davidson; and his brother Thomas Davidson.
He is survived by: his caregiver Victoria C. Davidson; his son Jason N. Davidson (DeAnna); his grandchildren, Neal J. Davidson (Brittany), Harmony M. Davidson and Jadyn C. Davidson; his great grandchild Noah N. Davidson; his brothers, Charles H. Davidson (Marie) and Raymond C. George (Ruth); and his son Rev. William R. Davidson Jr. (Devonna).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cavin-Cook Chapel (494 E Plaza Dr, Mooresville, NC 28115). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Salisbury National Cemetery (501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144).
