He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Michalak and Stella Michalak; and his brothers, Joe, Robert, Steve, Tom and Ed.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Michalak (Pat); his sisters-in-law, Audrey Michalak, Shirley Michalak and Donna Michalak; his children, Katherine Allan, Mary Garrett, John Michalak (Zolla) and Joe Michalak (Shelly); and his grandchildren, Daniel, Benjamin, Joshua, Sara, Hannah and James.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Therese Catholic Church (217 Brawley School Rd, Mooresville, NC 28117).
