He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Kimbrough and Jane Izabelle Thomason Benson. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Latham Benson; his children, Barbara Jean York (Tad Herrin) of Huntersville and Samuel Kimbrough Benson (Stephanie) of Waynesville; his grandsons, Latham York (Taylor), Christian York and Jett Benson; and his great grandchild Ocie York.
