He is survived by: his son Donnie Young (Vickie Beals Young); his grandchildren, Misty Young Brooks, Jennifer Bumgardner and Richard Cook, Jr.; his sister Martha Rogers; and his friend Robert Nicholson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
