He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Buehler, II and Mary Bradbury Buehler; his wife Lorraine Dobrzelecki Buehler; and his brother-in-law Brian Spring. He is survived by: his children, Debra Custer and William "Billy" Buehler, Jr.; his siblings, Frederick L. Buehler, III (Judy) and Barbara Spring; his nieces, Pamela Morrisroe and Colleen Stoia (Marco); his nephew Timothy Spring (Erika); his great-nephews, Brendan Morrisroe, William Morrisroe, Christian Spring, Logan Spring and Jacob Carroll; and his great-niece Allison Stoia.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cavin-Cook Funeral Home ((Hwy 150), 494 E Plaza Dr, Mooresville, NC 28115). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Therese Catholic Church (217 Brawley School Rd, Mooresville, NC 28117).
