We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2023 we had to say goodbye to William Allen Heglar of Mooresville, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bell and Innes Louella Corriher Heglar; his former wife Karan Whiteside Heglar; and his siblings, Barbara Johnson, Louise Heglar and JB Heglar.

He is survived by: his wife Lydia Wood Heglar of Salisbury; his children, William Allen Heglar Jr. (Wendi) of Faith and Lindsay Heglar Hopkins (Oscar) of Kannapolis; his grandchildren, Ragan, Riley, Luke and Kila; his sister Joyce Risden; his stepchildren, Theodore "Teddy" Wood (Jena) of Salisbury, Jacob "Jake" Wood (Annie) of Charlotte, Lucas Wood (Lauren) of Asheville and Lori Wood (Rei) of Salisbury; and his stepgrandchildren, Aden, Ryan, Gabrielle, Isaiah of Joshua, AJ, Tyler, Amelia, Milo, Levi and Abraham.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Destiny City Church or Tucker Hospice House.
