She was predeceased by: her father William Wyatt; her husband John Melton; her sister Wanda Seipel; her granddaughter Elizabeth Luffman; her sister-in-law Angela Wyatt; and her nephews, Robert and Thomas Robinette.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Luffman (Nichole) of Mooresville, Betty Jean Wyatt of Mooresville, Tabitha Pritt of Statesville and Jermaine Palmer of Mooresville; and her siblings, Windy Wyatt, Willa Luffman, William Wyatt, Wayne Wyatt and Walter Wyatt. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
