It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wayne Frank Vlack of Mooresville, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Vlack and Anna Hanacek Vlack; his wife Melva Vlack; and his daughters, Joyce Komatowskas, Susan Yanus and Leta Lee.

He is survived by: his children, Keith Vlack of Troutman and Diana Palomba (James); his brother Dennis Vlack (Linda); and his granddaughters, Tammy Tevepaugh, Susan Palomba, Janelle Palomba and Christine Smith. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2341 Simonton Rd., Statesville, NC 28625-8246.
