He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Martin and Ester Pinnix Martin; his brother Michael Martin; and his wife Teresa Martin. He is survived by: his children, Walter "Marty" Martin III (Marla) of Pittsboro, NC, Hugh Nicholas "Nick" Martin (Mary Catherine) of Troutman, NC and Amanda Williams (Jeffrey) of Mooresville, NC; and his grandchildren, Cassidy Martin, Kelsie Martin, Maggie Martin, Rose Martin, Eve Martin, Jackson Williams and Andrew Williams.
