He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Davidson Overcash and Sadie Kennerly Overcash; his daughter Deanna Jowers; his grandson Darrell Overcash (J. R.); and his siblings, Louise "Sandy" Miller, Carolyn Brown and Hugh Overcash.
He is survived by: his children, Wade D. Overcash III (Maritta), Dean Overcash, Sandra, Doug Overcash (Vonn), Darrell Overcash and Lisa Eakes; his former wife Phyllis Ervin Overcash; his siblings, Frances Davis and Robert Overcash; and his grandchildren, Davy Overcash (Mika), Dalton Overcash, Kimberly, William Craven, Doug Bailes, Stacy, Mason Overcash (Alliah), Nikki Cales (Reno), Ashley Keyes (Jonathon), Kelly Overcash, Brett, Dwane Overcash, Calin Jowers, Cash Jowers, Blake Eakes and Alex Eakes (T'elgin). He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gordon Hospice House in Statesville.
