She was predeceased by: her parents, William Spurgeon Griffith Jr. and Sara Pope Griffith Long; her husband Freddie Tilton Houston; and her daughter Gina Deree Houston. She is survived by: her son Shane Houston (Robin) of Mooresville; her sisters, Sharon Griffith and Pattie L. Sigmon (David); and her granddaughters, Kylie and Kara Houston. She is also survived by three nieces; five nephews; five great-nieces and four great-nephews.
