He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ortiz Adams; his children, Kelly Adams Brown (Tom) and Thomas Roy Adams, Jr. (Kim); his grandchildren, Chris Kerley, Robin Bachnik (Pawel), Amber Cashion, Brandon Adams (Caitlyn) and Carlos Adams; his great grandchildren, Chase (Georgia), MaKayla, Dru, Jaleigh, Kyle and Wyatt; his great great grandchild Kyndall; and his sister Jane Rigano.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Houston Road Baptist Church (128 Narroway Ln, Troutman, NC 28166). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at the Iredell Memorial Gardens (2304 Shelton Ave, Statesville, NC 28677).
