She was predeceased by: her parents, James Owen and Rachel Lisk Sikes; and her brother Wayne Sikes. She is survived by: her husband Jack Smith of Mooresville; her sons, Mark Smith of Mooresville and Jason Smith of Kannapolis; her daughter-in-law Melanie Smith of Mooresville; her grandchildren, Hunter, Hayley, Dalton and Addison Smith; and her godson Zach Eyler.
