He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh McLean Sherrill and Della "Dee" Perkins Sherrill; his wife Lenore Cooper Sherrill; and his sister Sondra Sherrill Parker. He is survived by: his nephew Michael Parker (Sarah); his niece Jill Lowe (Robbie); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Allison Parker, Rebecca Parker, Benjamin Parker, Kramer Lowe and Sydney Lowe Caulder; and his brother-in-law Donald F. Parker.
