She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dave Parris, Sr. and Mary Gilliland Parris; her husband Larry Michael Hager; her son Darren Lee Hager; and her brothers, Rev. William Parris, Jr., Carmel Lee Parris, Frank Richard Parris, Charles Parris, Wayne Edward Parris and Freddie Eugene Parris.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Moffitt (Susan) of Mooresville, NC, Sherry Plyler of Mooresville, NC, Beverly Moffitt of Mooresville, NC and Debbie Parris of Mooresville, NC; her grandchildren, Kaila Moffitt, Christopher Moffitt, Brittany Moffitt, Kaci Plyler and Zoe Hager; and her great grandchildren, Amara Hamilton and Isaiah Moffitt.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Whitman Park Baptist Church (188 Whitman Cir, Mooresville, NC 28115). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Iredell Memorial Park (2304 Shelton Ave, Statesville, NC 28677).
