She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dr. Samuel Henry Coombs and Lorayne Elisabeth Swartout; her siblings, Randall, Pamela, Derek, Alison and Kevin; her former husbands, John Harry Culp, Jr. (Johnny) and Douglas Lee Johnston; her husband Doug Johnston; her children, Christopher John Culp (Heather) of Charlotte, Susan Culp Sanders (James) of Davidson, Stephen Jay Culp (Meg) of Atlanta, Derek Samuel Culp (Elizabeth) of Saipan and John Harry Culp, III (Trippy); her grandchildren, Jessica, Christopher Culp, Tyler Leach, Michael Sanders, Leo, Avery Culp, Sam, Mimi and Eliza Culp; and her great grandchildren, Tatum Marie, Makena Grace Leach and Adalyn Marie Schultze. She was also cherished by mother to her four children.
Sharon Marie Johnston of Mooresville, North Carolina, age 81, died Wednesday, May 19th after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.
