It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Samuel Umbarger of Mooresville, North Carolina, born in Bland, Virginia, who passed away on November 10, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Yvonne Umbarger; and his grandparents, Bill, Virgie Summers, H. Paul and Cleo Umbarger.
He is survived by: his parents, O. Paul Umbarger and Mary Umbarger of Harmony, NC; his wife Diane Umbarger of Mooresville, NC; his children, Mindy Brown (Jason Brown) of Mooresville, NC and Matthew Umbarger of Denver, NC; his grandsons, Preston and Cohen Brown of Mooresville, NC; and his brothers, David Umbarger and Patrick Umbarger. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
