She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Mirolla and Jennie Iaconelli Mirolla Grosfield; her husband John VanHemel; and her siblings, Richard Mirolla and Nancy Nieman.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Fuhr (Jerry) and Mark Terry Morin; her stepchildren, David VanHemel (Marie), Don VanHemel (Deborah), Jean Bliscik (Andrew) and Jan Steinle (Christopher); her stepgrandchildren, Kelsey VanHemel, Mallory VanHemel Remner, Jon Steinle and Andrea Bliscik; her nieces, Debbie Nieman, Joyce Prince, Cindy Yates and Peggy Borst; her nephew Brian Mirolla; her great-nieces, Elizabeth Prince, Lindsey Borst and Kayla Moody; and her great-nephew Joe Borst. She is also survived by cousins, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
