He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lynne (Wilkinson); and his son Scott. He is survived by: his sister Marlene Anderson (Richard) of Muskegon; his children, Doug Hartsema (Jennifer) of Mooresville, NC and Nancy Gittleman (Larry) of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his grandchildren, Sarah Taylor Hartsema, Sam and Spencer Shores.
