He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Frank Carr, Sr. and Ida Mae Warfield Carr. He is survived by: his children, Cleopatra Lilly, Robert Carr, Jr., Christian Carr, Chasity (Donald) of Washington and Caleb Carr; his sisters, Idola Blackwood, Oyima Ellis, Emma Broadnax (Harry) and Diane Brown; his sisters-in-law, Ruth Smith and Sarah Carr; and his aunt Eunice Wilson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
