Though Richard Earl has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his mother Clara Selby Smith; and his brother Howard B. Smith, Jr.. He is survived by: his father Howard Bryant Smith; his wife Judy Hobbs Smith; his daughters, Stephanie Arnette of Mooresville and Rebecca Keever (Mark) of Mooresville; and his grandchildren, Sarah Dunagan (Galen) of Mooresville, Savannah Rich (Tyler) of Jonesborough, TN, Gavin Arnette of Charlotte and Ashlyn Mickley of Rochester, NY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and special friends.
