It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Barefoot (Mooresville, North Carolina), born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on March 13, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Joe Barefoot, Foch Barefoot, Jack Barefoot, Benny Barefoot and David Barefoot.
He is survived by: his wife Millie Bolick Barefoot; his son Richard W. Barefoot, Jr. (Debbie) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Joel Townsend and Julia Townsend; and his great grandchildren, Lynden Townsend and Bryce Townsend. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
