He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward William Brody and Sallie Beard Brody. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hendricks Brody; his children, Philip Rees Brody (Tyler) of Charlotte, Anna Brody Scaffe (Toby) of Charlotte and Sarah Elizabeth Brody of Troutman, NC.; his grandchildren, Will, Molly Brody, Banks, Mary Kirk Scaffe, Jack, Sallie and Charlie Leach; his brother Edward William Brody, Jr. of Maryland; and his caregiver Lisa McKenzie. He is also survived by his family and friends.
