He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Preston Karriker and Eula Deal Karriker; his sister Helen Campbell; and his brothers-in-law, Paul Campbell and Rev. Charles Macmurphy.
He is survived by: his wife Shelby Freeze Karriker; his children, Kim Karriker (James Crook), Anna Bradshaw (Perry), Melanie Deal (Alan), Pratt Karriker (Shasta) and Miriam Lowery (Michael); his grandchildren, Gabriel, Bethany Baxley (Justin), Jeremiah Bradshaw, Savannah Deal, Lee, Seth Karriker, Brooke and Ty Lowery; and his sister Phyllis Macmurphy.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Organ and Piano Music Ministry Fund at Concordia Lutheran.
