She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John and Sadie; her sister Audrey; and her husband Bill.
She continues her contributions to education with her donation to Duke University School of Medicine. Phyllis requested no flowers or plants but rather gifts in her honor may be made to St Jude's Children Hospital, as she holds great affinity for the work they do for the youngest among us.
