He was predeceased by: his parents, James Baker and Bertha Vanzant Baker; and his brothers, Donald Baker and Steve Caldwell. He is survived by: his brother Master Pilot; his wife Evelyn St. Clair Baker; his sons, Paul Baker, Jr. (Rene) of Mooresville and Jeffrey Baker (Margaret) of Mooresville; his grandchildren, Andrew Baker (Sarah), Alex Baker and Megan Baker; and his siblings-in-law, Kay Caldwell, Betty St. Clair Erwin and Larry St. Clair.
