She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Ruth Belk; and her husband Donald Cagle. She is survived by: her sons, Tony Cagle, Dean Cagle (Sandra) and Dale Cagle (Joy); her grandchildren, Kristie Helms (Kevin), Amy Efrid (Mark) and Creed Cagle; her great grandchildren, Alston Broadway, Logan Helms (Hailey) and Lauren Gibson (Josh); her great great grandchildren, Wesson Helms, Oliver and Nora Gibson; and her aunts, Decie Davis and Sarah Jones.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crossnore Communities for Children, 1001 Reynolda Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
