He was predeceased by: his parents, Fatima Badr and Gamal Badr; his former wife Helen Badr; and his parents-in-law, Margaret and Kenneth Bowker.
He is survived by: his former wife Helen Bowker; his wife Celeste; his children, Kareem and Deena (Kyle); his grandchildren, Nadia and Nathan; his stepdaughter Emily Green; and his brother Hussein.
