He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyle Sherrill and Annie "Louise" Howard Sherrill. He is survived by: his wife Debra Byers Sherrill; his sons, Jason Michael Sherrill (Casey), Justin Hoyle Sherrill (Erin) and Joshua Davis Sherrill (Amy); his siblings, Jim Sherrill (Geri) and Teresa Dellinger; and his grandchildren, Cody, Sawyer, Cayson Sherrill, Aiden and Austin Huskins. He is also survived by grandsons and hunting dogs.
