She was predeceased by: her father John Whitehurst; and her husband Carlton "Pop" Richardson. She is survived by: her children, Danny Richardson (Cyndi) of Mooresville and Cheryl Richardson of Mooresville; her granddaughter Britnie Sebesta; her great grandchild Kalina Sebesta; and her sisters, Josephine Gregory, Margaret Potter and Maxine Bates. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
