It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Joan Racano of Mooresville, North Carolina, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on August 9, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guiseppi Scordo and Filomena Scordo; her husband Carlo Racano, Sr.; and her son Peter Racano. She is survived by: her son Carl Racano, Jr. (Rose); and her grandchildren, Carl Racano III, Joseph Racano, Thomas Racano (Julie), Nicholas Racano, Jennifer Drum (Matthew), Paul Racano and Sarah Greene (Nathaniel). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
