She is survived by: her husband James Martin Scheffer; her children, Karen Miller (Kerry) of Mooresville and Gus Scheffer (Cathy) of Atlanta, GA; her son-in-law Don Mercer; and her sister-in-law Barbara Scheffer. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 11 nieces and nephew.
