She was predeceased by: her father Wilburn Leon Owen; her husband Claude "Wimp" Leon Rogers, Sr.; her granddaughters, Kelly Rogers McKusick, Amy Malinda Patterson and Suzy Rogers; her brother Leon Owen; and her daughter-in-law Kathy Kennedy Rogers.
She is survived by: her children, Claude Rogers, Jr. (Connie), Kenneth Rogers (Carolyn Ross), Melvin Rogers (Kim), Karen Patterson (Bobby) and Sharon Lloyd (Jimmy Gibbs); her siblings, Tommy Owen and Gilda Brown; her grandchildren, Casey Fero (Brian), Joshua Rogers (Kimberly), Jerrod Rogers, Samantha Lindon (Nathan), Courtney Patterson (Chastin), Justin Lloyd (Yasmin) and Shawn Lloyd (Leigh Ann); and her great grandchildren, Kyndall, Blake, Sophia, Auri, Garrett, Kerith, Amy, Avery, Braylee, Sloan, Harrison and Cya. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
