With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Elizabeth Wojtkowski (Mooresville, North Carolina), born in Hartford, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 20, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel C. Hamilton and Margaret E. Hamilton (Guinan); her husband John Michael; her daughter Denise J. (Peter Podavini); her sons-in-law, Andrew E. Coty and Richard H. Hart; and her brothers, Daniel and Robert.
She is survived by: her sister Sheila Milette (Paul); and her children, Pamela A. Coty of Keene, NH, John M. Jr. (Jin) of Indianapolis, IN, Daniel J. of North Port, FL, Mary E. Robinson (Steven), Kathleen M. Hart of Mooresville, Susan J. Smith (Timothy) of Concord and Shaun T. (Debra) of Newport News, VA.. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cavin-Cook Funeral Home & Crematory (494 E Plaza Dr, Mooresville, NC 28115). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Therese Catholic Church (217 Brawley School Rd, Mooresville, NC 28117). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Iredell Memorial Park (2304 Shelton Ave, Statesville, NC 28677). A reception was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Oak Tree Club House (180 Oak Village Pkwy, Mooresville, NC 28117).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Therese Catholic Church, 217 Brawley School Road, Mooresville, NC 28117.
