It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lon Cooke (Mooresville, North Carolina), born in Richlands, Virginia, who passed away on January 21, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison Cook and Rachel Keen Cook; his wife Frances Mae Witherspoon Cooke; and his siblings, Beulah Cooke, Genoa Johnson, Viola Hughes, Gladys Bandy, John Cooke and Paul Winston Cooke (Dickie).
He is survived by: his children, Donna Mallory (Steve) of Mooresville, NC, Lonna Kosnoski of Mooresville, NC and Lon Matthew Cooke (Carolyn) of Parkersburg, WV; and his brother R. A. Cooke (Betty) of Richlands, VA. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
