She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel E. Hicks and Bonnie Lee Sheets Hicks; and her sister Brenda Addair. She is survived by: her husband Lawrence "Buddy" Hicks, II; her children, Michael Edward Hicks (Lena) and Jennifer Lynne Hicks; and her siblings, Shelby Tucker (Steven), Samuel Hicks (Jane), Terry Hicks (Ann), John Hicks, Samantha Lowe (Charles), Crystal Wilson (Robert) and Melissa Hicks.
