It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lester Elmer Stoner of Mooresville, North Carolina, born in Madison, Indiana, who passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Stoner and Mabel Brown Stoner; his son Michael Wayne Stoner; and his siblings, Norma Jean Thomas and Theodore Stoner.
He is survived by: his wife Averlene Edge Stoner; his son L. Tyrone Stoner (Esther); his grandchildren, Christopher, Cara, Jason, Rueben, Lavender, Jesse and Jonah; and his great grandchildren, Hayden, Lillian, Kayde, Logan, Taylor, Isaiah, Caleb, Wyatt, Jackson and Sinta.
