It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy Benson (Mooresville, North Carolina), born in Robbins, North Carolina, who passed away on April 3, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Benson and LuCrettie Enloe Benson; and his siblings, J. L. Benson, Jr., Harley Benson and Juanita Lassiter.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Parker Benson; his daughter Lori Newby (Ty); and his granddaughters, Amanda and Erica Newby.
