He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy and Mable Katherine Karriker Morgan; his siblings, Jack, Doris Sims and Louise St. Clair; his son Stephen Reid Sr.; his grandson Stephen Reid, Jr.; and his great grandchild MacKenzie Morgan.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Null Morgan; his daughters, Cindy Morgan and Crystle Lineberger; his grandchildren, Jamie Morgan (Keesha), Carson Lineberger (Erica), Holly Andrews, Morgan Andrews (Justin Christenbery), Onnie Basinger (Joseph), Brittney Duggan, Tiffany Duggan and Jessica Morgan; and his siblings, Ganelda Gusler (Tom), Don Morgan (Sally) and Wayne Morgan. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren, one great great grandson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cavin-Cook Funeral Home (494 E Plaza Dr, Mooresville, NC 28115). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Luke's Lutheran Church (11020 NC-801, Mt Ulla, NC 28125). A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
