He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Elizabeth Wise and Joseph Elwood Earlywine, Sr.; his wife Virginia Earlywine; his son Matthew Earlywine; his brother Edward Earlywine; and his stepdaughter Bernadette Bonato.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Elwood Earlywine, III, Stacey Earlywine and Erin Earlywine; his sisters, Judith Onekea (Bob) of Pearl City, HI, Janet Hall, Helen Archambeau of Syracuse, NY and Cathy Davies (Jess); and his stepdaughter April Gillespie (Todd). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many other "adopted" family members.
