He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Shuemaker Smith and Johnnie Elmer Huffman. He is survived by: his pets, Scooter and Katana; his children, Shane Huffman (Christina) and Shannon Knight (Eric); his sister Sandy Coxey; his grandchildren, Brandon Hunter, Brycen (Brynne Huffman), Ansen (Camdyn Earnhardt) and Kaitlyn Knight; his great grandchildren, Kaden, Jackson and Kylie Hunter; and his nieces, Holly Cheeks and Amber Coxey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Piedmont Animal Rescue, 228 East Waterlynn Road, Mooresville NC 28117.
